Aquarium Service Pricing
First Time Consultation $75 & Up
If you are a first time customer your system will have to undergo an inspection by one of our staff Technicians. During the consultation the technician will inspect all operating equipment and make recommendations as they see fit in order to minimize loss, and to maintain the best environment for the display inhabitants. This is a great time to discuss with the technician what you want to see in the aquarium.
Routine Service
Routine service is defined as service completed no less than once every two weeks.
Routine Service – Freshwater Aquariums 49 Gallons and Below
Aquariums in this size range are generally serviced within 30 minutes to an hour. Routine service for these aquariums is billed at fixed rate $75. An onsite consultation will be required to begin routine service.
Routine Service – Freshwater Aquariums 49-90 Gallons
Aquariums in this size range are generally serviced within 45 minutes to 1 hour Routine service for these aquariums is billed at fixed rate of $93.75 An onsite consultation will be required to begin routine service.
Routine Service – Freshwater Aquariums 91 Gallons and Above
Aquariums in this size range are generally serviced within 1 to 1.25 hours. Routine service rates for aquariums of this size are quoted at the time of the required onsite consultation. The minimum rate for service on aquariums this size is $112.50.
Routine Service – Saltwater Aquariums
First Visit- $75 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Every sequential visit within at least 2 weeks of your prior service will be a fixed rate that will be determined at the time of your consultation. The minimum fee for any routine saltwater service visit is $112.50. If you go longer than 2 weeks for service on our routine service plan, your next visit will be billed at $75 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours. An onsite consultation will be required to price the job.
Multiple Aquariums in the Same Location
A custom quote will be completed at the time of the onsite consultation for service, the service quote will be figured by estimating the length of time each service visit will require and multiplying that by $75 per hour. In addition a surcharge of $18.75 for freshwater aquariums or $37.50 for saltwater aquariums will be added to the quote.
Non-Routine Service Rate
A non-routine service call is any call that is NOT regularly scheduled on a minimum of a bi-weekly service plan. The rate for this service is $75 per hour, plus service charges, including traveling time with a 2 hour minimum for freshwater or saltwater. Emergency rates are $97.50 per hour / 4 hour minimum.
